My approach
Five steps towards sustainable impact
Every organisation and every engagement is different. My approach nevertheless follows a clear structure. I understand the current situation, create a shared perspective, make sound decisions and support implementation until the organisation is enabled to continue independently.
Clarity before action
I do not begin with a predefined solution. I first clarify what actually needs to be understood, decided or changed.
My approach depends on the specific assignment, the people involved, the existing capabilities and the responsibilities agreed for the engagement.
Five steps
Getting to know each other
I learn about the organisation, the current situation and the people involved. Together, I clarify expectations, objectives, challenges and the possible framework for collaboration.
The first conversation is not intended to sell an immediate solution. It is intended to determine whether the assignment, the collaboration and the relevant conditions are a good fit.
Understanding
I analyse relationships, make different perspectives visible and develop a shared understanding of the current situation.
I consciously distinguish between facts, assumptions and interpretations. Objectives, interests, risks, dependencies and responsibilities are made transparent.
Deciding together
Based on this shared understanding, I define objectives, priorities, roles and responsibilities.
Together with you, I decide which changes are appropriate and realistic under the given conditions. This creates a clear and viable path towards implementation.
Implementation
I actively support implementation and take the responsibility agreed for the engagement.
Depending on the need, my role shifts between Challenger, Accelerator, Executor and Observer. Decisions are translated into concrete steps, progress is made visible and obstacles are addressed early.
Enablement
My objective is not to remain permanently indispensable.
I transfer knowledge, strengthen existing capabilities and enable people and teams to make decisions increasingly independently and continue transformation under their own responsibility.
Sustainable impact emerges when responsibility and the ability to act remain within the organisation.
Not a rigid formula
The approach adapts to the assignment.
The five steps provide a clear orientation, but they are not a rigid model.
Depending on the situation, individual steps may receive different emphasis, be repeated or take place in parallel. What matters is that understanding, responsibility and implementation remain connected.
The first step is a shared conversation.
Together, I clarify with you the assignment, the expectations and whether collaboration is appropriate.
