1 Privacy policy

This statement describes how Hosang Consulting GmbH handles personal data. We use our own and external IT and cloud services; depending on the service, processing may take place in Switzerland, in Europe or in the USA. The specific services are described in sections 8 and 9. This statement applies to collaboration with Hosang Consulting GmbH.

For the operation of this website, the information in section 9 applies in addition.

2 Principles

Personal data is only processed if and as long as there is permission or legal obligation to do so. Data is only used insofar as it is necessary for a legitimate purpose. All personal data is treated confidentially.

4 Data processed

Data is processed from clients, prospective clients, course participants, employees, applicants, cooperation partners and business partners. This includes contact details, information on enquiries or registrations, CVs, professional experience, educational certificates and – where necessary – billing, compensation and bank details.

5 Purpose of processing

Clients, prospective clients and course participants: Processing enquiries and registrations, delivering and invoicing engagements and courses. Applicants: Placement in suitable positions and projects. Business partners: Ensuring smooth contract performance. Employees: Fulfilment of employer obligations under the existing employment relationship.

6 Data security

Hosang Consulting GmbH takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data.

7 Your rights

You have the right to access, correction, deletion and restriction of processing of your personal data. Please direct inquiries to the data controller at andreas@hosang-consulting.com or via the “Submit a data protection request” form at the end of this page.

To protect your personal data, we verify your identity before providing personal information or making sensitive changes. If a clear match is not possible, we will only request the additional details required for this. If we already know an email address of yours (for example from a registration, pre-registration or earlier correspondence), we prefer to carry out the verification through that address. We do not send personal information to an address given in the form that has not yet been verified; follow-up questions to an unconfirmed address serve solely to identify you. Data can only be deleted to the extent that no statutory or contractual retention obligations apply.

8 AI-assisted tools

We use AI-assisted tools for internal analysis, structuring, summaries and drafting of texts. In doing so, work-related personal data such as name, contact details and business content may be processed, but only to the extent necessary for the purpose concerned. We pass on confidential client data only if this has been agreed with the client or the data is sufficiently anonymised. External AI providers may process data outside Switzerland.

9 Operation of this website

This section relates exclusively to visits to hosang-consulting.com and supplements the preceding information.

Hosting. The website is operated via Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When you visit the site, technically necessary connection data such as your IP address, the time of access, the page accessed, and browser and device information is processed. This is necessary for content delivery and to prevent attacks and may involve disclosure abroad, including to the USA.

No analytics or advertising cookies. This website does not set its own analytics or advertising cookies, does not embed advertising or analytics services, and does not create visitor profiles. There is no cross-website tracking.

Fonts. All fonts are served from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or other third-party providers.

Local storage. Only technical settings are stored in your browser's memory: your language choice and – for the duration of the session – whether you have closed the notice about the course offer. This information remains on your device, is not sent to us, and can be deleted at any time via your browser's settings.

External services. The website contains links to external services, including appointment scheduling via Microsoft Bookings, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn and X. These services are only accessed when you click the corresponding link. From that point on, the privacy policies of the respective provider apply.

Contact. If you write to us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we use your information exclusively to process your request.

Forms. If you use a form on this website (course registration, course pre-registration, in-house enquiry, data protection request), we use your information exclusively to process your request, to deliver and invoice the course and – only with your consent – to inform you about further trainings. Form data is not stored on the website but forwarded to us by email. For this we use the email service Resend (USA) for sending and Google (Gmail) for receiving; processing therefore does not take place exclusively in Switzerland and may involve disclosure abroad, including to the USA. We retain course pre-registrations until you withdraw them or until you have attended a course; other information only for as long as necessary for the purpose concerned and for statutory retention obligations.
