In May 2024, I read the saying ‘Success is my only revenge’ on a vehicle in India.
This reminded me of an important lesson from my own career: the best way to respond to criticism is with action, not words.
My class teacher in the sixth grade once told me that I was born stupid, had been bathed too hot, dropped as a baby and had forgotten half of it anyway.
My teacher in the 7th grade even said: ‘You’ll never become anything anyway.
Such negative statements could have discouraged me, but I decided to go my own way.
Inspired by my grandmother’s words: ‘You can be stupid, but you have to know how to help yourself,’ I have learned to see challenges as opportunities.
These experiences taught me that our professional path is often the result of our own decisions and reactions, not the opinions of others.
