One key to success is to take the time to understand the basics – for example, when peeling a cocoa fruit, the basic ingredient for chocolate.

This experience shows me once again how important it is to take action and not hesitate to take on even simple tasks. If you want to lead, you have to know what it feels like to be at the beginning of a chain of work.

In May 2024, a kilo of cocoa was currently worth CHF 2.50 due to poor harvests in Africa; last year it was only around CHF 0.60; you have to work hard to be able to live off that.
