Graubünden liest
«Graubünden liest» («Graubünden reads») is a non-commercial initiative that Andreas Hosang and Elizabeth Kunhimon support through Hosang Consulting's engagement work. It promotes reading, character-building education and lifelong learning, rooted in Graubünden and shaped by Christian values.

What the initiative aims to do
Reading connects generations, broadens perspective and helps people learn from history. As part of «Graubünden liest», Andreas Hosang keeps books at his office in Chur and passes them on free of charge. They include books for children and young people on topics such as character building, prevention, health, history and Christian values. Workshops on entrepreneurship have been held in Switzerland, Germany and Norway; workshops on agriculture took place in Kenya.
Bücherbock and Pipliothek
“Bücherbock” and “Pipliothek” are sub-formats of the initiative. Both names are German and are kept as they are — they are part of the initiative's identity, not a translation.
Why the initiative itself stays in German
The books and the conversations around them are in German, for a German-speaking audience in and around Graubünden. This page exists so that English-speaking visitors can understand what the initiative is — not to offer the initiative itself in English.
