Project Management

End-to-end responsibility for complex IT and transformation projects. Budget, time, quality – and the courage for uncomfortable truths. I support companies in demanding ventures as an external project manager with direct accountability.

What project management means with me

Project management is more than planning and reporting. It's the ability to bring people together, structure complexity and deliver results that hold up beyond project completion. I take full responsibility – from initialization to closure. This means: stakeholder management, budget control, risk management and the willingness to openly address uncomfortable truths. No large team, no agency – instead, personal responsibility and a network I deploy strategically when needed.

Industries and methods

I work across industries – from public administration to banking, logistics, IT services and industry. Methodologically, I move between traditional project management (HERMES, IPMA) and agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe). Since 2024, I serve on the board of a Switzerland-wide community of practice that bridges traditional and agile approaches.

"Results must hold up – not just at completion, but over time."

When external project leadership makes sense

Complex IT and transformation projects need more than a project plan. They need clear responsibility, robust decisions and someone who keeps the big picture in view. External project leadership is particularly useful when internal leadership capacity is lacking, responsibilities are not yet clear or many stakeholders need to be coordinated. I take overall control, create transparency around decisions, risks, budget and progress, and keep the initiative on course through to delivery. This is not about replacing existing teams. I create a reliable framework in which business units, IT, leadership, partners and suppliers can act together effectively.

Responsibility that can be demonstrated

Project management proves its value not through methodology labels, but through whether complex initiatives remain manageable and decisions are made in time. My experience ranges from large IT rollouts and migrations to digitisation and transformation programmes to projects with significant organisational and financial responsibility. The following examples show in which situations I have taken on responsibility.
