An offering from Hosang Consulting, primarily guided by Elizabeth Kunhimon

From Job to Vocation

The idea for this offering came from a recurring observation: many people, especially young people, look for a job without first asking themselves what they actually want to use their abilities for. Career choice is often reduced to a single decision, yet there is more to it than that.

In our view, vocation emerges where three things come together: what moves a person, what they can do, and what is needed. Only once these three elements become visible can a concrete next step emerge, and only then does the person take responsibility for letting that clarity create impact.

The guidance is primarily carried by Elizabeth Kunhimon. She previously spent twelve years working in Dubai, most recently as Senior HR Executive at Al Seer, where she was responsible for over 400 hires per year. Andreas contributes selectively on entrepreneurial and career-related questions. Exactly how her international HR experience shapes this approach in detail is still being clarified with Elizabeth and will be added here.

The format is deliberately kept open: flexible, personal orientation support rather than a rigid group workshop. Depending on need, one or several sessions take place. The offering is aimed primarily at young people, and additionally at adults in transitional phases and people seeking orientation, with no fixed age limit.

What emerges from this is rarely a finished answer. Most often it is a concrete, tangible next step that the person can take themselves, because they understand what they want to use their abilities for.

This offering continues because orientation is often exactly what is missing at this point: not the will to act, but clarity about what to act toward.
